The Thousand Yard Stare

Ada is happy to be home but she's also been a little intense. She's smiled a few times but then cries again almost immediately. The photo below shows her sort of default state -- watchful, a little unsure, slightly annoyed. We're spending a lot of time cuddling, with the hope that she'll start to realize that the drama is over.
